Tattoo Safety for Diabetics

Though it is not impossible for an individual with diabetes to get a tattoo, certain medical issues become of importance that others rarely have to think about. The application of a tattoo is largely a deliberate injury to skin tissues and the average diabetic can have a much higher compromised ability to heal from wounds. A decreased circulation and inability to feel pain in some areas is often what leads to fast infections that require medical attention. Simple lower back tattoos can turn into abscesses if a diabetic individual is not careful. This is why it is necessary for diabetics to get a doctor’s checkup and permission before heading to the tattoo parlor.

Being diabetic is no guarantee an infection will occur; however, it is always much better to be safe than sorry. When browsing through the many dragon, star and religious tattoos, most never venture to think about extreme complications that can follow. Being prepared is the best way to keep troubles down to a minimum. When it comes time to get the tattoo, it is important to keep strict control on insulin levels several days before and after the procedure. The tattoo and its dressings must be kept extremely clean and handled with clean, sanitized hands.

Rugs for Every Room

Posted in Home & Garden

I have tile and hardwood floors throughout my entire house. I really prefer this over carpet because it is much easier to clean and I get to buy rugs to go with my decor. And another thing that I like is that they can be cleaned easily, replaced easily and you can get them to match anything.

I have two shag rugs in my bedroom because the room is sort of divided into a bedroom area and a sitting area. Having two rugs keeps my feet warm and the room separated yet open. I love the floor plan of my master bedroom because I practically have two living rooms.

I love rugs so much that I even have an outdoor rug on my back patio. It makes the patio feel like it’s a part of the inside and it makes my house seem bigger than it really is. They keep your feet warm and they go with any decor and in any room, inside or outside, that you can imagine.
