AOL to Outlook Application is a Time Saver

I am changing my email from AOL to Outlook and I was terrified that I would have to manually export my address book. But that was before I did a search for “transfer AOL address book” and found an application that does it for me. This came as a huge relief and a  giant time saver.

And while I was on the Connected Software site I found that they have a way to recover deleted emails. I cannot find several important business-related correspondences that I need and now with this program I can get all of them, even the ones in corrupt files.

I wish that I would have know about this inexpensive application before. I could have export Outlook to Notes a lot sooner and saved myself a lot of time. I’m planning on recommending this to my colleagues because we often change email addresses and when we do, our secretaries are tied up for hours making sure all of the email addresses get transferred.

Golf Schools for Serious Endeavors

No matter what the vocation, education is a must and careers in golf are no different. Golf is a far-reaching industry that supports hundreds of thousands of jobs in one capacity or another. Because it is an industry that centers on a sport, it has many elements that are sometimes not found in other types of business. Therefore, attending a reputable college such as San Diego Golf Academy can help one get all the skills they need for a successful career in golf. There are many vocations throughout the golf industry that help make it the alluring business that it is.

Though some would assume golf schools are simply places to improve one’s swing, in all reality one can learn the ins and outs of management or learn to become an instructor. While management skills can be useful for a golf course, instructors find jobs in schools, golf resorts and can even give private lessons. Because golf is so popular, graduates can take their credentials and find a job in any city on the map. With a fully accredited curriculum, students of a golf school can find themselves eligible for financial aid.

Presidential Campaigns Collide with Maps.com

The 2008 Presidential election has been very intense on the Democratic Party’s side. While it appears that Senator Barack Obama is going to be the Party’s nominee, Senator Hillary Clinton has not ended her presidential run. The two have campaigned throughout the country and broke old and new spending records.

I have several maps of Florida that have the cities that the two Presidential-hopefuls have campaigned in. And not surprisingly, it is very blank. Because the State of Florida broke Democratic Party rules and moved their primary ahead, they have thus far been disqualified from the delegate count. That is why the Senators did not campaign there very much.

And my Arizona maps does not have many pins either. Neither candidate spent very much time there. Barack Obama did air several commercials though. He also had the endorsement of Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano.

The maps of Texas have many pins tacked into the cities and town of Texas. This is a huge state and both wanted to get as many delegates as possible. Obama went throughout most of the state, giving speeches and gaining a lot of support from the Hispanic community. Clinton also went through most of the state and gained the support of many leaders in the Hispanic community.

Gatehouse Academy Helps with Statewide Documentary

I recently saw a documentary called “Crystal Darkness.” The methamphetamine crisis is so terrible that all of the stations here in Arizona aired the documentary without commercials at the exact same time. I think that a lot of people must have called in with concerns or seeking help.

It seems like the only way any of these people will live is if they get into drug rehab programs. The addiction is too strong to do it on your own. And from what I’ve read, meth is more addictive than other addictive drugs. There is a drug rehab in Arizona that participated in the documentary. Some of their counselors worked the phones.

And from what I’ve heard and read, alcoholism is just as much a problem as meth and other drugs. The difference is that alcohol is legal for those over 21. But getting into an alcohol addiction treatment program can be difficult also. While meth might be more chemically addictive for most, alcohol holds a strong grip on those that suffer from alcoholism.

Every state should simultaneously air that documentary also. I think that if it helps one person, it is worth it.

Hopefully French Open Highlights will Show Federer Winning

I love warm weather, summer vacations and the tennis season, which actually begins in January because that is when summer is in Australia, but the majority of tennis tournaments are closer to May, June and July. The French Open highlights from last year showed a defeated Roger Federer and a jubilant Rafa Nadal.

Maybe this year’s French Open tennis winner for the men’s singles will finally be Roger. He desperately wants this title so he can retire with a career Grand Slam. He is definitely the King of Grass but he does lack when it comes to clay court tennis.

One reason that I want to see Roger winning during the French Open tennis coverage is because he seems like a great guy. He is good friends with Tiger Woods and I believe he is involved with several charitable organizations. Either way, he is an amazing athlete and I want him to finally win.
