The Roland Garros tennis tournament is coming up and this year’s event is sure to be as exciting as last year’s. I always catch up with the French Open scores and the highlights that I miss on The Tennis Channel. But I try to not miss any of the important matches.

Rafael Nadal beat Roger Federer in ’06 and ’07. Federer is undoubtedly wanting to win this Grand Slam tournament. Nadal is known as the King of Clay while Federer is known as the King of Grass. This is because Nadal is the best on the clay court and Federer is the best on the grass court.

For the women, Justine Henin-Hardenne has won the past 3 years and she is aiming to set a new record by winning 4 consecutive French Open tournaments. If she does this, she will break the record of 3 consecutive wins that she shares with Monica Selles. On a different note, Monica was recently on Dancing with the Stars.

Many people say that their greatest fear is the fear of public speaking. This can prevent some from advancing very far in their careers because often, the higher up you are, the more you have to speak to groups. Fear of public speaking can lead some to feel nauseous, others feel hot or cold and some just feel weak.

I did a search for "presentation skills Minneapolis" and found a great training class for my employees to take. I’ve heard of too many people not getting as far as they should because they were too afraid to speak to groups.

I also thought that while I was looking for professional development in my state, I would do a search for "leadership training Minneapolis." I found the same company with the same great resources but for my management.

I needed to update my house and I didn’t have a ton of money. I made several inexpensive changes and it looks like I remodeled. I went to the flea market and bought a couple of end tables. I put a little paint on them and they looked great.

I got several discount rugs and kitchen throw rugs to put throughout the house and kitchen.These really seemed to do the trick and they were not very expensive. I got new curtains to match them and I repainted my living room and kitchen.

I also spent some time changing the look of my bedroom. I went with a cubism look and I found the perfect contemporary area rugs to make everything come together. I didn’t spend very much money on all of this and I ended up being very happy with the updated look.
